This is largely a placeholder post, to say that I have not abandoned the blog, just been busy with other projects this year. I have also read a lot, and it has given me a lot of ideas for new posts. I am currently going through the many notes I took on one of the books I read, trying to distill them into a coherent review. The book in question is not particularly well known, but it has an eminently sensible message which I think should be better known. When it appears, this will be a post which will cover a few of my favourite topics, including local food production, the joy of the natural world, and the importance of challenging black-and-white blinkered thinking…
